Jonathan & Monica Steele
Serving in ministry since 1999
Jonathan and Monica Steele serve through mentoring, pastoral care, education, and cross-cultural leadership development. In partnership with World Ministry Partners, they equip English- and Spanish-speaking individuals to live, work, and serve effectively in cultures and languages different from their own.
Through OPEN CAMINOS, they educate children, youth, and adults through mentoring, training, cultural immersion, and practical learning experiences that foster spiritual, relational, intellectual, and vocational growth. OPEN CAMINOS also provides internship opportunities that allow participants to gain hands-on experience in cross-cultural service, leadership, community development, and transformational ministry.
As part of this educational initiative, Jonathan is developing NEDELF, a holistic educational framework and curriculum designed to help learners grow in wisdom, character, relationships, and practical skills while preparing them to serve effectively in a diverse and interconnected world.
Through personal discipleship, pastoral care, leadership development, and encouragement, they help individuals flourish in their calling and use their profession, vocation, ministry, or small business to create lasting and holistic transformation in the lives of others.
As part of their ministry, Jonathan and Monica travel to meet with individuals and families where they live and serve, providing one-on-one mentoring, shepherding, and practical support. Their desire is to see people become agents of transformation through healthy relationships with God and others.
Through this ministry of pastoring, mentoring, education, and cross-cultural engagement, the Steeles serve English- and Spanish-speaking communities in South America and other regions of the world.
